Traffic Alert!
The Turner Turnpike will be down to just one lane Monday both westbound and eastbound at Wellston for bridge work. The Turnpike Authority suggests exiting at Wellston and taking Rt. 66 if you’re coming from the Tulsa area and then, on the return trip, taking 66 to Wellston before getting on the turnpike.
Rally Time!
Join thousands of Oklahoma parents, educators and concerned patrons Monday, March 30, at the Oklahoma State Capitol to rally in support of a high-quality teacher for every classroom and to create a common-sense testing culture in Oklahoma’s public schools.
Don't forget to make appointments with your legislators (see Find Your Legislator) link below. We encourage you to wear your school colors or red for Education!
Engage with your legislators and peers during this full-day event. Advocate for your schools with your legislators during the morning and visit nearby food trucks for lunch. The dynamic line-up of speakers begins at 12:30 p.m. on the south steps of the Capitol. All Rally materials will be available on the first floor of the Capitol for those who arrive in the morning.
Following the Rally everyone is encouraged to pack the House and Senate galleries. Both houses will be in session and education bills could be considered. Be patient with security, and let's try to fill the building with supporters of public education.

Talking Points & Agenda
Traffic Plan & Parking
In order to avoid traffic jams in the rally area, staggered arrival times for buses are suggested (see map below).
School buses and charter buses bringing large groups will be able to park near the Oklahoma State Capitol in the area of NE 21st and Central Avenue. If and when the bus parking area fills up, drivers will be directed to park at Remington Park after dropping of their passengers.
